アートへの想い
ARTは、ただ空間を飾る物ではなく、心の拠り所としての役目があると思っています。 どんな人であれ、心に傷はあるもの。 大きな傷になればなるほどに 「ずっとそばにいる」拠り所が必要。 その役目をARTは担っていると感じ、私自身も救われてきた。 ずっと見守って居てくれるそんな絵をこれからも描き続けたい。 Thoughts on My Art I believe that art is more than something that decorates a space—it can become a place of comfort for the heart. Everyone carries wounds within them, no matter who they are. The deeper those wounds become, the more we need something that quietly stays by our side. I believe art can fulfill that role. Art has also been a source of strength and healing in my own life. Through my paintings, I hope to create works that gently watch over people, offering peace, comfort, and the feeling that they are never alone. This is the kind of art I will continue to create. My experiences caring for foster children, teaching art to children, and guiding seniors in Buddhist painting have deepened my belief in the healing power of compassion, which is reflected throughout my work.

- 糸魚川市に移住、活動拠点を移し、個展・企画展を中心に国内外で作品を発表。里子養育、小学校絵画講師、高齢者の仏画指導を始める

- Biography
- —
- February 1969 – Born in Aomori, Japan.
- 1998
- – Studied the traditional art of Neputa painting and participated in the Neputa Festival.
- 2005
- – Relocated to Itoigawa, Niigata, Japan, where I established my artistic practice. Since then, I have presented my work in solo and group exhibitions both in Japan and internationally. I also began teaching art at elementary schools and leading Buddhist painting classes for senior citizens.
- 2018
- – Began creating original ART Goshuin (hand-painted temple and shrine seal artworks), a practice I continue to this day.

- Today, I continue to exhibit my work in Japan and internationally while creating my "Honobono Kannon" series and original ART Goshuin.
